The Rose and The Fern Symbols of classic British building techniques
combined with kiwi ingenuity

Rosefern was founded in 2019 when Ant and Paul (British imports) met Scott (the Kiwi) and their respective rugby jerseys’ emblems were combined to create the company name however the combination of the emblems did not halt the sports rivalries, they still continue fiercely to this day!
Scott helped with the finance side of the company while Ant and Paul drew on their expertise and network of people in the region to create a team capable of producing quality new build homes in high growth areas in the undervalued, ever-evolving Garden City. The team collectively share the vision of helping their clients grasp the opportunity in this incredible location. Whether it’s an investment property or a place to call home - the feeling of owning a Rosefern Home should be the same - one of satisfaction, security and a relationship fostered.

“Rosefern is a tema, driven by a collective passion for providing our clients with stunning homes in high-growth areas who can be as proud to own them, as we are to build them.” - Ant Patrickson - Director

Our Purpose

This purpose keeps our company compass pointing towards the eventual goal. Everything we do revolves around this;

“We help our customers invest in quality new homes, in high-growth areas in an undervalued city.”

Why Christchurch?

Scott is from Palmy North, Ant is from Newcastle Upon Tyne and Paul from Cheltenham.

Sometimes it takes the perspective of outsiders to see how big the opportunity on the Christchurch doorstep actually is.

Coming from the condensed UK where central city gentrification is expensive and logistically challenging, the forced purge of the older housing stock and deteriorated buildings post-quake provided a semi-blank canvas from which a new, modern city has emerged and continues to morph in beautiful ways. The ease of central development has been like a heart transplant for the CBD, reinvigorating itself from the rubble with the overtones of resilience that has become etched in the city’s persona.

The future is promising for this city. The popularity and population is increasing with the City Council projecting Christchurch's inhabitants to increase by over 150,000 people by 2043. The opportunity is presenting itself to smart investors to identify the signals, we’re just here to provide quality homes…
